Chatrapati Shahu Shikshan Sanstha opened Narayanrao Waghmare Mahavidyalaya with Arts, Commerce and Science streams. Rural and Economically backward students are the centre point of this institution. Overall personality development is one of the aims of the institution. Hon. Dr. Krishnarao Kondbarao Patil Jarodekar has been a source of inspiration all the time. Through his initiatives and inspiration college has achieved its several goals. Though college is situated in rural area with tribal society, it has its own identity in the university. College maintains rich tradition of college examination result and student’s strength. College also maintains socials relation and social responsibility.

Government of Maharashtra has honored the NSS unit of the college and NSS officer with state level Best Award. Along with it college has been awarded as a Best Exam. Centre by S. R. T. M. University Nanded. Sport Dept., N.S.S. Units and cultural dept. plays an important role in the responsibility and carrier development of the students.

Several past students of the college serving their duties in different fields. They bringing good name to the college. Recently college has been awarded ‘B’ Grade with CGPA 2.14 accredited by NAAC, terminational values among the students. Hon. President of the institution, members of the Governing body and the staff of the college, try their level best to achieve the aims and goal of the institution.

आखाडा बाळापूर आणि परिसरातील विद्यार्थ्यांच्या उच्च शिक्षणाची सोय व्हावी या उद्देशाने आमच्या   नारायणराव वाघमारे महाविद्यालयाची स्थापना मा. डॉ. कृष्णराव पाटील जरोडेकर यांच्या दूरदृष्टीतून इ.स. १९९४  साली झाली. कला वाणिज्य व विज्ञान या तीन विद्याशाखा सुरू करण्यात आल्या. या परिसरातील गोरगरीब कष्टकऱ्यांचा पाल्य अर्थात या महाविद्यालयाचा विद्यार्थी केंद्रबिंदू मानून त्याचा सर्वांगीण विकास घडविणे हाच या  महाविद्यालयाचा मुख्य उद्देश आहे. अल्पावधीतच आमच्या महाविद्यालयाने विद्यापीठ पातळीवर आपला वेगळा ठसा उमटविला आहे. नॅक मानांकनात महाविद्यालयास ‘बी.’ ग्रेड (CGPA 2.14)  प्राप्त झाला आहे. महाविद्यालयास स्वामी रामानंद तीर्थ मराठवाडा विद्यापीठाचा उत्कृष्ट परीक्षा केंद्र पुरस्कार व महाराष्ट्र शासनाचा उत्कृष्ट राष्ट्रीय सेवा योजना युनिट पुरस्कार प्राप्त झाला आहे. अध्ययन अध्यापन आणि संशोधन याबरोबरच सामाजिक बांधिलकी जपत महाविद्यालयात नवनविन उपक्रम राबविले जातात. राष्ट्रीय सेवा योजना विभाग, क्रीडा विभाग व सांस्कृतिक विभागातून महाविद्यालयाच्या अनेक विद्यार्थ्यांनी विभागीय, राज्य व राष्ट्रीय पातळीवर यश संपादन केले आहे. महाविद्यालयात पदवी शिक्षण पूर्ण केलेले अनेक विद्यार्थी विविध क्षेत्रात आपल्या कार्याचे योगदान देत महाविद्यालयाला नावलौकिक मिळवून देत आहेत.या ग्रामीण महाविद्यालयातील विद्यार्थ्यांचे मनोबल वाढावे, त्यास आत्मनिर्भर बनवावे, त्याचा व्यक्तिमत्त्व विकास व्हावा यासाठी संस्थेचे अध्यक्ष मा. डॉ. कृष्णराव पाटील जरोडेकर तसेच पदाधिकारी व महाविद्यालयातील प्राध्यापक वृंद व प्रशासकीय कर्मचारी  सातत्याने प्रयत्नरत असतात.
