Department of Sports
Department of Sports has been working since establishment of the college in the year 1995. One full time post is sanctioned and filled, that is Director of Physical Education.
Facultie: –
Dr.Gomchale M.S. Director of physical education is qualified and component. He has joined the department in 1998. He was an outstanding sportsman right from his college days. He is an excellent Coach and cricket player. He was completed M.Phil Degree in faculty of physical education . He also completed Ph.D. Degree from Dr. B.A.M.University Aurangabad.
Dr. M.S. Gomchale has published 6 research papers in international journals of one paper in national level conference. He has been appointed as coach of university Cricket (M/W) team. He is a member of Maharashtra cricket Umpires Association.
Department.
Every year College students participate in inter college as well as inter university level Tournaments and brings laurels to our college. To inspire and motivate the students, Department organize university inter collegiate tournaments and coaching camp in our college. Department organize different open sport tournaments on different occasions. Department trying to develop sports infrastructure of standard level in order to bring awareness of health and physical fitness among students. College provides different facilities for players e.g. T.A.,D.A. will be provide to participant as per university rule.College provide a quality sports equipment and sports kit to the players.
Play fields Available:
A well prepared Play fields of Volleyball ,Kabbaddi ,Kho-Kho are available. Cricket practice and Athletics practice ground are also available for students.
