Physics Department
The department of physics was established as a subject of science faculty in June 1994. Physics is one of the basic science subjects, and the optional is given with other basic science subject as Mathematics, Chemistry. Most of the students are from educationally poor group of society and also low knowledge in the subject.
The department is started in Physics laboratory. The practical instruments for UG course is the feature of Physics department. The department has study material and question bank is available for students. The faculty of the department work hard with the students to equip them for higher studies, we believe in subject understanding, for this faculty tries to set various lab oriented activities by giving various project to increase the creativity of students. The continuous evaluation of students is through unit test numerical solving ability, assignments and seminars.
The faculty is attending academic seminars, conferences, workshops, Orientation course, Refresher courses and short term course and presented the research work. The department faculty Dr. Kadam S.S. is a Head of department and his research area is dielectric properties of liquids using TDR. The non teaching staff, Shri. Bhise R.G. is a Lab. Asst. and shri. Shirde S.D. is a Lab attendant.
The department is alert about the student progression and always helps to them to choose right career.
